Dr. Jason McWhirter is a physician, founder, and healthcare executive with nearly 30 years of experience building and scaling medical practices. In 2002, Jason founded ReNue, growing it from a single Calgary practice into a leading multi-location medical aesthetics chain. In 2019, ReNue was acquired by FYidoctors, Canada's largest doctor-owned healthcare network, where Jason subsequently served as Vice President and Chief Medical Officer of the Medical Aesthetics Division, helping expand the platform to 26+ locations nationally.
As a Fellow of the Canadian College of Family Physicians and founding member of the Alberta Aesthetic Medical Doctors Group, Jason combines clinical credibility with proven business acumen. His experience navigating provincial healthcare regulations, building physician networks, and integrating practices into a larger platform directly aligns with the challenges and opportunities ahead for MyEngene®.
